We had the pleasure of opening our ten thousandth store in 2022 by continuing our investments and bringing all of our employees and stakeholders together.

Dear Stakeholders,

As one of Turkey’s leading food retail chains, we maintained our growth uninterruptedly, with more than 10 thousand stores and a workforce approaching more than 45 thousand in 2022. We continued to provide consistent and high-quality service in 2022, serving customers from the nearest point from their homes, across 81 provinces of Turkey. In addition, we opened new stores and warehouses and expanded our workforce.

In 2022, even as the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic subsided, the world faced problems that included food and energy problems, triggered by international conflicts and natural disasters such as droughts or flooding. While volatility around the world also affected our country, we were able to take pride in the opening of our ten thousandth store, achieved by continuing our investments and bringing all our employees and stakeholders together.

In addition to operating an extensive ecosystem consisting of supply, production and logistics, we also continued to contribute to the economy of our country during the year through the employment we created and the investments we made. Thanks to our innovative and customer-oriented business model, our net sales rose by 108.7% compared to 2021, reaching TL 59.3 billion.

In 2022, we made an investment of TL 1.7 billion, including opening new stores and warehouses. We opened 1,034 new stores and seven new warehouses. The total number of our stores reached 10,281 and the total number of warehouses reached 38.

We are ranked among the companies that provide the most employment in Turkey, with the total number of our employees more than 45 thousand. Opening an average of one thousand new stores every year, we provide nearly four thousand new jobs.

While touching the hearts of millions of customers every day with the quality and affordable products we offer, we strive to ensure that our stores are not just shopping points but vibrant spaces where consumers can discover new experiences. We establish a sincere and trusting relationship with our customers. Making every effort to provide exemplary customer satisfaction and adapt to rapidly changing trends, we continuously invest in digital infrastructure, human resources and stores.

We attach great importance to e-commerce and digitalization to provide our customers with the best shopping experience. With our Cepte ŞOK application, we offer our customers who prefer online shopping, easy to pay at the door at market prices and free home delivery service. We continue to invest in Cepte ŞOK to meet the increasing demand and expand our delivery capacity. We will continue to improve our services in the digital field and work to meet the changing needs of our customers.

While contributing to the country’s economy through the widespread ecosystem we have established, we maintain affordable prices on private label products such as Piyale, Mis, Mintax, Amigo, and Evin by controlling the production processes for these beloved and well-known products end-to-end. We consistently offer quality and reliable products to our customers at the most affordable prices and, in 2022, continued to support our customers’ economic wellbeing.

In 2022, we celebrated with pride the 100th anniversary of Piyale, known as the brand, that introduced pasta to Turkey. With our wide product range, we invite the next generations to experience the Piyale difference.

In line with our goal of delivering reliable and quality products to our customers at the most affordable prices, we are proud to support domestic production. Through our “Fair Agriculture from Farm to Table” project, we bring the bounty produced by farmers all over Turkey to our customers at the most advantageous prices. In 2023, we will steadfastly continue to provide our customers with quality products at affordable prices and to support their savings.

Our new advertising campaign, spotlighting the slogan “ŞOK Seviyoruz”, launched in 2022 and attracted great interest. We win the hearts of our customers via campaigns that showcase fresh and quality products at affordable prices at ŞOK Marketler, and we cherish their happiness as they share their cost savings with their families.

As a large family with strong bonds, we strive to achieve our targets with the sum of our strength. As ŞOK Marketler, we will continue to provide constant service to all our customers across the country, and to open new stores and make quality service accessible to everyone. We will maintain our activities with the aim of leaving a more livable world to future generations.
